  AGGRESSIVE POLICE FORCE!. They take pleasure in ticketing children for standing on a sidewalk! My son is afraid to go outside due to the aggressive nature of the police force here. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE IN A TOTAL POLICE CONTROLLED STATE. I thought I lived in a pleasant country Texas town with friendly neighbors and police who are here to serve and protect. HUH! Was I ever wrong!

  This is one of the worst run cities I have ever lived in. Never have I had trouble with a city or company receiving payment for a bill from me. Multiple times they have sent me "late notices" saying that I haven't paid my water bill.... Why is the City of Anna the only place that can't get something in the mail? When you call, whoever is working in the water department can only give an attitude and no assistance. There is a long list of reasons that people shouldn't move to this town. The fact that they're trying to grow rapidly but aren't keeping up with the roads or water supply to make it possible. Traffic is HORRIBLE in this small town, that's ridiculous. They also are not prepared for their growth with their EMS services, they have 1 volunteer department, and they're building houses as quickly as they can. Do not move here if you're considering it. I'm looking for my way out.
